    Review Article promotion

    Progress in Earth and Planetary Sciences welcomes review articles that cover one or more of the points in the following list:

    • Articles that present their selected topic in a way that may be understood by specialists from different research fields and thereby promote interdisciplinary research.
    • Articles that present their selected topic in a way that may be understood by specialists from different fields and thereby promote interdisciplinary research.
    • Articles that give a well organized presentation of current knowledge, concepts and theories with the hope of suggesting profitable new directions for future research.
    • Articles that give a clear overview of subjects that may be difficult to understand by reading original papers.
    • Articles that present recent systematic developments that have not yet been covered in book form.
    • Articles that summarize and explain data collected by current research projects and point out and discuss future scientific issues.
    • Articles that summarize completed projects, discussing the state of the field before the project, progress due to the project and any remaining scientific issues.
    • Articles which present material that can be used in university seminars aimed at educating students, junior researchers and specialists from other fields.
